Meet the Team

Nick casey

Nick Casey is the founder, driver, and lead photographer behind SCK Racing, a grassroots motorsports brand rooted in the Tennessee Valley and North Alabama region. Built on passion, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the moments that make racing special, SCK Racing reflects Nick’s commitment to both competition and storytelling. Competing in a 2022 Ford Mustang in the CAM-C class, Nick is coming off a strong 2025 novice season with a top-eight finish, marking the beginning of a competitive journey fueled by discipline, curiosity, and an obsession with improving both on and off course.

Unlike many drivers, Nick’s path into motorsports did not start behind the wheel. He comes from a highly competitive athletic background, earning a fourth-degree black belt in martial arts and competing at the world level as well as achieving Master classification in IDPA pistol shooting. That experience ingrained a deep respect for preparation, consistency, and performance under pressure further reinforcing a mindset built around precision, control, and disciplined execution.

SCK Racing was created to be more than just a race car or a results sheet. As the team’s photographer, Nick documents the emotion, intensity, and community that define grassroots motorsports throughout the region, capturing everything from split-second action to the quiet moments between runs. The mission is simple: have fun, go fast, and don’t die. Beneath that humor is a genuine desire to grow the sport, highlight its people, and expand SCK Racing’s footprint beyond the local scene as a recognizable presence in motorsports media.

Ethan stire

Ethan Stire is the current East Tennessee Region CAMC Champion with his 2018 Mustang GT. Three years ago on 20” 400 treadwear tires, Ethan and his car were far from competitive.

Like many other car enthusiasts, Ethan found Autocross as a way to have fun with his car and hang with other like minded individuals. This one event in a minor league baseball teams parking lot started the snowball down the hill. The friendliness, competitiveness, adrenaline rush, and plain fun that this sport provided was something most people would never experience. For Ethan, the option to be as committed to this sport as an individual wanted was extremely appealing. You’re going to get out what you put into it.

Having a background in mechanical engineering allowed Ethan to develop improvements in ways many others could not. From designing quick release brackets to basic aero pieces, combining this type of work with hobby was more than doable.
